Thanks for Celebrating with Us! Baby Shower favors

Good Morning!!!!

It's my day to share a project with you over at the Jaded Blossom blog.

I have a super simple and cute baby shower favor to share with you today.

I am going to be a Great Aunt in about a month and we had a baby shower  to help welcome my new nephew.

I  made a few party decorations to go along with the shower theme, which was Mickey Mouse. The mama to be wanted bright summer colors so she chose to do blue and yellow.

Here are the favors that I made.......

For the Mickey head I used my Cricut machine and the Mickey cartridge.

The yellow candies are Sixlets candies and I finished the tops off with yellow tulle.

Paris Theme Birthday Party

Good Morning, it's my day to share a project with you over at Jaded Blossom! So I decided to share a party that I created, with you.

My daughter just had her 8th birthday and she had a Paris theme. She loves Paris and is hoping to visit soon. I told her she better start saving now!

I really couldn't go too over board like I normally do. Just too much going on right now. But I was very happy with how it turned out.

She didn't want a big cake so we decided to just do cupcakes with cupcake toppers.

Her favorite candies are the chocolate kisses so we made simple favors using those and I let her pick one game and made cute prizes for the winners.

So here's what I made........

I had so much fun creating her party for her. Of course she is a girly girl and wanted pink and black. I think it turned out perfectly and she said she had a wonderful time, the best birthday ever.

 

For the cupcake toppers I used the Eiffel Towers and they are from SVG Attic. The 8 is stamped out from the  Number Candies.

 

For the prize gifts I used the Gusset Bag and the Dainty Topper Die and the Big Winner sentiment is from Game Night . I added some basket filler to the bottom of the bag and then added the cute little prize. The girls had so much fun playing the game. We played twice so there were two winners.

Cotton Ball Game

What You need.......

2 Large bowls

1 Bag of Cotton Balls

Large Spoon

Blind Fold

 

How To Play

The child sits with the blind fold on and one bowl in there lap filled with all of the cotton balls. I pulled the cotton balls apart so they weren't so clumped together. Another child holds the empty bowl on top of the child playing, head.  Using the spoon, the blind folded child scoops the cotton balls onto the spoon and has to put them into the bowl on top of their head. Each child gets 3 scoops. The point of the game is to get the most cotton balls into the bowl on top of your head. It's a lot harder then it sounds and it is a lot of fun. The girls had a blast playing.

 

For the favors I used the Clear Purses and the Dainty Topper Die. I folded the clear handle on the purse down and taped it and then added my topper.  The Thanks For Celebrating With Us sentiment is from the Birthday Candies.

Jaded Blossom May 2015 Stamp Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone! 

Welcome to Jaded Blossom's May 2015 Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from GiGi you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made:  

I love this whole release. It was so hard to decide what to make for my hop project. But I had these yummy yogurt covered raisins so I thought it would be fun to make lava rocks and dino eggs.

I cut out the tray from the Candy Caddy and used the 2 1/4x8in treat bags. I used the Luggage Tag Die for my tag. My Volcano cut is from Create a Critter and I used my Cricut and the Dino is from KaDoddle Bug Designs in the Cute Little Dino set.

I used The Great Outdoors set and masked out the flame image for the You Light My Fire sentiment. I stamped the Lava Rocks candy stamp and punched it out and added it to the circle die in the Mini Tag Dies 2. I stamped the You're Dinomite sentiment from the Dinotastic set onto the die from Mini Tag Dies 2.

I LOVE this Chibi Big Foot from SVG Cutting Files. I think he turned out so cute. I put him to the Fry Box With Mats and added some yummy coffee beans as his treat. The scoop is from Jaded Blossom and I used today's freebie set Big Foot Bites for the sentiment and added it to the circle die from the Mini Tag Dies 2.

Jaded Blossom May 2015 Stamp Release Day 4

Today is day 4 of the Jaded Blossom May stamp release and we  have another sneak for you!

I was so excited when I saw this set. I think it is adorable and have so many ideas for it.

 

 

EEK!! What do you think!?

Do you LOVE it as much as I do?!

 

I have had this paper FOREVER, saving it for a special project. So when I saw this set I know what paper I wanted to use.

Here is what I created....

 

 

 

 

I have made these fun 12x12 paper baskets a lot since I have started paper crafting. I have used them as center pieces for parties most of time. I added some red paper basket filler and then added  Hershey kisses with the candy charms on the bottom and stamped with the small monkey.

I used the new Luggage Tag Die and stamped the monkey on it. The sentiment is stamped on a die from the Mini Tag Dies 2 and then I added some Doddlebug sprinkles.

I punched holes in the four corners of my paper and pulled them to the center and tied them together. I cut long pieces of orange and yellow tulle and tied it around the string holding the basket together and then added my tag!

And now for my project...
I made this cute treat box

For my little treat box I used the Dinotastic stamp set and stamped the sentiment onto one of the Candy Wrap Dies. I had some left over eatable grass so I used that to create a fun little nest and added some chocolate foil eggs. You better eat them before they go EXTINCT!!! HAHA
The Dino Belly Box is new from SVG Cutting Files. Isn't he adorable!!!!! Since I'm in full force baby mode, I think this would be adorable to add a little baby gift to or a shower favor.
