Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I love Halloween and since last year I have wanted to make something special for a friend of mine. I know that she loves Halloween too and is a breast cancer survivor. With October being Brest Cancer Awareness Month I had a great idea of making her something really fun with a holiday that she loves and a  great cause that is close to her heart. I have spent many nights on Pinterest trying to come up with a creative idea and collecting some inspiration without copying someone else's work. I wanted to make her some kind of pumpkin in the breast cancer colors. I recently purchased a SVG file from SVG CUTS and knew this was the pumpkin that I wanted to use. I could envision it and was so excited to create it just for her.
I made a couple before hand in different colors so I knew hers would go together perfectly. This is what I created just for her and I love the way it turned out.

The lid does come off so you can add a battery operated tea light or some yummy candies.

For the tag I used Jade Blossom's Fight For a Cure stamp set and Mini Tag Dies

I trimmed her hat in pearls and finished it off with some twine from my stash.

Isn't she adorable! I gave her to my friend and she loved it.
Thanks so much for taking a look and I hope I have inspired you.
