Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I love Halloween and since last year I have wanted to make something special for a friend of mine. I know that she loves Halloween too and is a breast cancer survivor. With October being Brest Cancer Awareness Month I had a great idea of making her something really fun with a holiday that she loves and a  great cause that is close to her heart. I have spent many nights on Pinterest trying to come up with a creative idea and collecting some inspiration without copying someone else's work. I wanted to make her some kind of pumpkin in the breast cancer colors. I recently purchased a SVG file from SVG CUTS and knew this was the pumpkin that I wanted to use. I could envision it and was so excited to create it just for her.
I made a couple before hand in different colors so I knew hers would go together perfectly. This is what I created just for her and I love the way it turned out.

The lid does come off so you can add a battery operated tea light or some yummy candies.

For the tag I used Jade Blossom's Fight For a Cure stamp set and Mini Tag Dies

I trimmed her hat in pearls and finished it off with some twine from my stash.

Isn't she adorable! I gave her to my friend and she loved it.
Thanks so much for taking a look and I hope I have inspired you.

Mario and Luigi Birthday Party

We celebrated a very special little boys birthday this weekend. I can't believe my baby boy turned 6! It seems like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital.
Every year I let the kids pick the theme for their parties. This year he picked Mario and Luigi. A few months back I completed a Video Gamer blog hop that the ladies over at SVG cutting files and Jaded Blossom put together. After completing the guidelines for the hop I received some awesome FREE files that the very talented Ann from SVG cutting files created. This is where I got the Mario and Luigi from and the mushroom. I had a lot of fun making them.

Who doesn't love cupcakes?! The Mario and Luigi were cut at 3ins and topped the cupcakes with crunch coat. They were a big hit. The kids loved them.

Our party wouldn't have been complete without some mustaches.  I added the mustache candies from Jaded Blossom to the bottoms of the kisses.
Happy Birthday banner I used the wine tag die from JB and I cut the Mario and Luigi at 4ins.
You have to have treat bags! This was a last minute creation. I wanted to do something different than I have done before. I used the new Scallop Slider and Topper Die from JB along with Birthday Candies stamp set  and the Here's The Scoop stamp set

I was going just do the cupcakes and make him a small cake. But I saw this cake the night before at the store and new it would be perfect.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. Hope you were inspired for your next party!!!
Happy craftin, Sara

You Say Stalker, I say Jaded Blossom Addict Blog Hop..........Day 3

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Welcome to the
"You Say Stalker, I say Jaded Blossom Addict Blog Hop"!

You should of arrived here from Addict Dardie's blog, but if you did not, start at the beginning at JESSICA'S BLOG!

This is the  FIRST EVER Jaded Blossom/SVG Cutting File Addicts Blog Hop!

How did this come to be you may ask? Well, a group of us addicts were all trying to support one another while we waited for our next "fix" of stamps and files, and we decided since Candace, Michelle, and Anne are ALWAYS so good to us, and always give us what we need, that we need to shower THEM with a blog hop!!! This has been a secret for almost a month now! Hee Hee! We have secrets ourselves ladies!!!

Disclaimer:You know you are an addict when you 1.) Find yourself growing VERY impatient waiting for new stamps to come out, when the most recent release was a week ago. 2.) When you are on the Jaded Blossom Garden of Creativity page longer than you are at work or with family. 3.) When you own at least 80% of all the stamps! Now tell us, are YOU an addict??? We are gonna BET you are!!!

This will be a 3 day hop. All the files and the stamps will ALL be from Jaded Blossom Stamps and the cutting files will be from SVG Cutting Files.  Here is the breakdown of how the projects will go:

Day One (Friday)will be a TAGS/CARDS
Day Two (Saturday) will be 3D ITEMS
Day Three (Sunday) will be FAVORS!

And what would a good hop be without some blog candy??

There are a few stops along the way that are giving away some AWESOME goodies!!!

In order to be qualified for the prizes (which will be announced on Wednesday February 19), you MUST do the following:

1. Follow ALL hop participants blogs
4. Announce that you are PROUD TO BE A JADED BLOSSOM/SVG CUTTING FILES ADDICT! on either their Facebook Pages (Jaded Blossom Garden of Creativity & SVG Cutting Files Galleria) or if you are not on Facebook, leave ONE comment on each of their blogs (most recent posts), Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files! LEAVE ONLY ONE COMMENT-NOT MULTIPLE!
5. Leave a comment on each of the blogs along the way, each day, to tell us how amazing and awesome our projects are :)

So, sit back, grab a cup of the good stuff, and catch the following addicts in action!!!

So, today is the last day of our hop! I had so much fun creating these fun projects for Candace, Ann and Michelle. I didn't tell you all before but this hop is the main reason I started my blog. Jessica came to all of us about 1 month ago and asked if we would like to be part of this hop. I so badly wanted to do it but then at the same time almost thought of declining the invitation. Blogging is.....or should I say, WAS so intimidating to me. I wanted to start a blog for a very long time and this hop was the perfect reason to just start it. So thank you to Jessica too, for getting me into gear and giving me a very good reason to start blogging.

I saved the best for last ;) (yes, I'll hear from Michelle about that one, HEHE) Ann, you are the reason I finally bugged about getting my Silhouette Cameo. I just had to have one, and finally got it for Christmas. You really help tie all of projects together with your files. I remember last year when I saw JB's Sweet Birthday Wishes set and I fell in love with the lil girl image you created for them. I looked you up and saw that you have the SVG cutting files. At that moment I knew I had to have a machine that would help me cut out your files. You are very talented. I just love that you are paired up with Michelle and Candace. Your products compliment each other so well. So thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us.

Here is the special treat I made for Ann.
Products used in my project today are Monster Bash SVG cutting file from Ann's store. JB products clear purse, dainty topper die, candy charms & banners die, mini tag dies, valentine dies, wedding candies and Monster Mash stamp set.

Thank you so much hopping along with us today. I was honored to participate and help shower Anne, Michelle and Candace with love in this fun hop. Happy crafting, Sara!!!!!

                                                            Next up is Addict Deb

Here is the lineup in case you get distracted from the awesomeness!!!
